Since 1961 the purpose of the Greenville County Historical Society has been:

• To collect and preserve the papers, records, photographs and materials which document the history of Greenville County.

• To support programs, publications and exhibitions pertaining to the history and culture of our region.

• To locate and mark places, sites and buildings of historical interest or significance.

• To help establish a permanent repository and museum in Greenville.

Show your support by attending meetings of the Greenville County Historical Society, using the archive facilites and visiting the gift shop.
